Philadelphia, PA – October 30, 2008 – The newest television spot in Let Freedom Ring’s $5 million dollar ad campaign features Frank Gaffney, Former Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Policy (Acting) juxtaposed with quotes from Presidential Candidate, Senator Barack Obama and from Vice- Presidential Candidate, Senator Joe Biden. The ad focuses on international perceptions of our Commander-in-Chief and how they might translate into “testing” in ways that could be deadly to our country, its people and our allies. :<\/p>\n

The 60 second script is as follows: <\/p>\n

GAFFNEY:
“People talk about the United States being the sole Superpower, in fact, that’s a product of decisions…in some cases, decisions that were made twenty years ago by President Reagan.”<\/p>\n

OBAMA:
“I will cut investments in unproven missile defense systems.”
“I will slow our development of future combat systems.”<\/p>\n

GAFFNEY:
“The consequences of four years of incompetent government in the military and national security arena could be disastrous.”<\/p>\n

OBAMA:
“I will not develop new nuclear weapons…”
“You know where I stand.”<\/p>\n

GAFFNEY:
“When we see candidates that unmistakably convey a determination neither to use military power nor to ensure that they have it at their disposal should it be necessary they are conveying to our enemies…weakness. And weakness invites aggression.”<\/p>\n

BIDEN:
“It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama…I guarantee you, it’s going to happen.”<\/p>\n
