Jobs Numbers Demonstrate the Government is not a Jobs Creator

Weston, FL–Republican Congressional Candidate Ozzie deFaria believes this morning’s jobs numbers published by the U.S. Department of Labor demonstrate that the Obama economic agenda, championed by Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), proves that both she and President Obama lack the experience to bring the 9.1% unemployment rate to below 8%, as they have previously promised the American people. Even worse is Wasserman Schultz’ statement yesterday, reported by CNSNews.com: “we’ve begun to turn the corner.”

Ozzie deFaria, the Weston father of six and Republican candidate for Congress in Florida’s 20th District states: “As I said during my announcement speech on Tuesday, I say to Debbie again, exactly which economy are you referring to? We went from no net jobs in August to only a gain of 58,000 new jobs in September, which continues to be less than expected.”

“As I talk to my friends, family, neighbors and other members of this district, no one else is seeing the economy turning around in the near future. While Debbie is worried about promoting the Obama agenda as her top priority, most people are worried about how they will pay for the increase in food prices and gas, while most business owners are still dealing with the uncertainty they face as a result of Obamacare, and the impact it will have on their businesses.”

deFaria concludes, “Wasserman Schultz and President Obama continue to champion the government as a jobs creator, as they once proposed with the failed stimulus plan and now want us to pass their so-called jobs plan. As Albert Einstein once said, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different result.”

“We know how this movie ends and we’re not buying a ticket to it.”
